Dr. Justin Cox, who is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, attended Morehead State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. While at Morehead State, he was a member of the football team which is where he became familiar with chiropractic care with having several injuries during his playing career. Upon graduation, he enrolled in Life University where he graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. While at Life University, Dr. Cox was a personal trainer at the wellness center. He specialized in understanding what the client was trying to accomplish and creating an exercise regime to fit their needs accordingly. He is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
Dr. Cox uses a variety of techniques along with supplementing stretching and exercise into the rehabilitation approach for all his patients. He specializes in creating and educating the patient on diverse care plans that are directly related to the patient’s wants or needs. He finds it important to cater a person’s injuries to a specific care plan in order to maximize the recovery process. Dr. Cox goal for every patient is to improve their symptoms to their pre-injury feel whether that injury occurred from an accident or an injury in their personal life.
In Dr. Cox’s free time he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Courtney and their 2 dogs, Chloe and Charlie. They like taking hikes, seeing nature, and just being outside soaking up the sun and Vitamin D. He also enjoys spending his weekends on the lake boating with them. He is a HUGE sports fan and tries to attend every Falcons, Braves, or Atlanta United game that he possibly can.
