
Dr. Samuel Sparlin’s hometown is Atlanta, Georgia. He majored in biology at Valdosta State College and Oglethorpe University where he received his undergraduate education. He was later accepted to Life Chiropractic College and earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1988. Dr. Sparlin completed special studies in x-ray, industrial ergonomics, Cox and Markey distraction techniques, Graston technique, communications and management.
His professional memberships have included the International Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, Georgia Chiropractic Association, Georgia State Peer Review Committee, and Georgia Academy of Industrial Health Consultants. Dr. Sparlin served on the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners for five years and is a member of the International Chiropractic Knights of the Round Table. Dr. Sparlin has been an examiner and has participated in question selection for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners since 1998. Currently, Dr. Sparlin serves on the advisory board for The Bridge Youth Counseling Center.
Dr. Sparlin enjoys running, hiking, scuba diving, skiing, spelunking, marksmanship, and cave diving. Dr. Sam and Lorraine Sparlin are the proud parents of two beautiful girls, Emily Louise and Clara Ann.
