Dr. Alysa D. Jordan is a first generation American by way of Trinidad and Tobago, and a native of Brooklyn, New York. When it comes to improving the lives of others through chiropractic, passionate is an understatement. She found her love for chiropractic after experiencing terrible headaches that were resolved through chiropractic care. After experiencing such great relief without medication she wanted to give others the same opportunity. Dr. Jordan believes that administering chiropractic adjustments and allowing the body to use its natural healing ability should be the first step towards assisting others in achieving optimal health.

Dr. Jordan attended Virginia State University where she earned her B.S. in biology/pre-med. During her college career she was a VSU cheerleader and became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Before attending Life University College of Chiropractic, she dedicated a year to working for a non-profit organization in order to give back to her community. Dr. Jordan is a member of the American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA) and League of Chiropractic Women (LCW) and Georgia Chiropractic Association (GCA). She is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. Her methods of treatment included Diversified Full Spine, Thompson, TRT (Torque Release Technique), physiotherapy and Gonstead. She is also certified in Webster’s technique, which is specifically for pregnant women. She attends continuing education courses every year in order to keep her license current and advance her knowledge to better serve her patients.

Dr. Jordan finds value in family fellowship, kickboxing and time with her two dogs, Inca and Patra.
